Sandy Town Council are seeking a competent person join our grounds team. Applicants will be required to carry out repairs to Town Council property, undertake cleaning and maintenance duties, groundsman work, horticultural work in and around the Town Centre, inspections of play areas and street furniture plus general duties in connection with the maintenance and repair of town council assets. Full manual driving licence required.
The successful applicants will have the physical ability to lift, carry and perform other physical tasks on a daily basis.
37 hours per week with occasional weekend or evening work.
NJC Scale Points 7 – SCP 12 currently £20,444 - £22,571
