The council is aware of public concern about enforcement action recently taken in the cemetery and has been listening to the views which have already been expressed about it. If you would like to share your views please talk to your elected representatives. You can make an appointment to see the Town Mayor or any of the Councillors through our office. You can also contact the Councillors direct using their contact details on this website. You can write to or email the council and you can also call in to the office between the hours of 9.30 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm from Monday to Friday to speak to a member of staff.
Public concern about the burial regulations and their enforcement will be on the agenda of the full council meeting on Monday 11 August 2014 at 7.30 pm and members of the public will be able to attend that meeting and listen to the debate. There will also be the opportunity for them to express their views on that day. Our Meetings page explains the procedures at meetings and how to register your wish to speak. The agenda for the meeting is available here.
If you would like further information please contact the Town Clerk.
